SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL WHEN IT COMES TO SITE SIZE
Small
is beautiful
when it
comes to
the scale
of a
brand new
development in
Thrapston, according
to property
consultants, Countrywide
Land & New
Homes.
Selling agents Countrywide Land & New Homes are currently promoting
a small, private
development of just
13 new homes at Grange
Close in Thrapston,
being built by Hearthstead
Homes – a
family owned business
specialising in small-scale
developments in selected
counties in England.
The
location and scale
of all Hearthstead
Homes’ developments
means that its new
homes’ styles
are designed to fit
the layout of each
new site. Hearthstead
Homes does not have
a set range of standard
house types it uses
on every development.
At
Grange Close there’s
a mix of house designs
and styles and while
the scale of the
development is small,
there are 12 four
and one five bedroom
home for sale.
The
four bedroom homes
come in five different
designs, from three
storey town houses
to four bedroom detached
over two storeys,
all with integral
garages. The detached,
five bedroom home – ‘The
Burghley’ – has
its bedrooms spread
across three storeys.
All
the designs have
an ensuite bathroom
to one of the larger
bedrooms. Downstairs,
each home has an
open kitchen/breakfast
space with some house
types also offering
a separate room for
more formal dining. All
the homes come with
contemporary kitchens
and bathrooms as
standard with a choice
from a range of finishes
subject to plot.
Thrapston
itself is an old market
town but has excellent
modern road links
via the A14 west to
Kettering and Northampton
and beyond to the
M6, the A14 east to
Huntingdon and Cambridge
and the M11 and the
A1 to Peterborough,
which is 18 miles
away. All
these destinations
have good links to
the mainline rail
networks. |
