Once a Roman fort town, the delightful bustling town of Ilkley nestles in Lower Wharfedale on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and lies within easy reach of Skipton and Harrogate as well as the major regional centres of Leeds and Bradford. The town was a fashionable spa resort in Victorian times and today whilst retaining much of its period charm, boasts a myriad of shops and restaurants with excellent parking nearby.

Just above the town is the famous Ilkley Moor, and the Cow & Calf Rocks which are excellent places to enjoy the magnificent panorama overlooking the town and the River Wharfe beyond.
